The methodology section of the paper should show the data that was collected and how and why it is collected. It is the author’s own research on the subject. It is important to use a research method that is ideal for the subject. The author should also discuss problems that might arise when conducting the research. He should also explain what steps he will take to avoid or lessen problems.

A strong methods section will prove the point of the paper with stronger emphasis. In the methodology section the author should explain how he collected his data and why. The author should choose a methodology that best answers his research question. The author also needs to choose how to present his findings based on what he is trying to discover and where he is presenting his findings.
