The thing the made me stay in the class was the hope of an “A” grade if I completed the class with satisfactory work. When Marlen said that it would be a lot of work I thought that it was another professor just saying that so we would be prepared for “some” work. To my disappointment, it was a ton of work. At the beginning I was worried about finding a topic in which I was interested. After I chose my topic I was worried about completing a 15 page paper. I didn’t realize how breaking it into sections would make the entire project less stressful. I began enjoying the process of writing a research paper. In the future I plan on working in the medical field. Therefore I am going to continue learning throughout my career. I am guessing I will be using this process again. I feel comfortable with the process. My proudest moment was after the first peer review and my reviewer said my paper flowed well. To me that means I organized my thoughts well and my paper made sense. I really think I will remember the process of writing a research paper. It no longer seems like such an intimidating task.
